Data Deletion Request

At Resolv Social, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Deletion

You can delete your account directly within the Resolv Social app:

  1. Open the Resolv Social app
  2. Go to Settings (tap your profile icon)
  3. Tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Email Request

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to submit a request via email, please contact us at:

support@resolv.social

Please include your username (if known) and any information that will help us locate your account. We do not require your real name or personal details to process the request.

What Data Is Deleted

When you request account deletion, we permanently remove:

  • Account information: Username, password, and profile data
  • Posts and comments: All content you have submitted
  • Interaction history: Likes, flags, and engagement data
  • Device tokens: Push notification registrations
  • Session data: Login history and device information

What May Be Retained

In limited cases, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Anonymized or aggregated data: Data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
  • Legal obligations: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
  • Safety records: Moderation records related to community safety may be retained in anonymized form.

Processing Time

In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
